I'm packing, Moi is showering and Eli is playing with the dogs as he goes in and out of the our broken screen door. Yes that was our morning the day we left to Disneyland. We were planning to head out by ten, but anyone who knows us that means eleven or even twelve. Yes we left at twelve. Our time management definitely could use a lil' help ;)
We arrived at the hotel, feed Mr. Chunks his mid day snack and headed off to D'Land. I was so excited and Eli had no idea what was going on. But the moment we entered the shuttle he was a bundle of excitement. He was hopping up and down on my knees more and more as he felt the movement of the bus. I could tell he knew something was up. As we walked through the gates his eyes popped open. We were definitely in a new world that Eli could get used too :) But Eli hadn't taken a nap, so as much as I wanted to go on every ride, we knew it was break time after his only third ride. Yes only third. The first was the Jungle Safari Cruise and let me tell you, he was squirming in my arms in dire need to just at least touch the water. (Eli is my water baby) He loved just the idea of being by water, which I think was more exciting than what the actual rides purpose was. We went on my all time favorite Peter Pan and my lil' scardy cat was not feeling it. So he finally told us what he wanted with his pointing. The carousal. Yes that was his choice out of every ride there he went for your optimal carousal :) Then he called it a day and we ended it with the parade, which I think was his absolute favorite. It wasn't the longest day, but definitely a day filled with new moments, a few tantrums and plenty of laughter and smiles. We plan to head back during Christmas when he's walking and we can really enjoy it ALL day :)
