He doesnt have to wait...

So My sweet Lil' E of course has had horrible acid reflux and decided to take him to a Chiro. (I decided to do some research on it and found mommies whose babies suffered from it and their last chance was a chiro and IT WORKED) so I gave it a shot! So after Eli was examined he determined Eli was backed up as he calls it. Well we spoke to his doc and she said it was ok if Lil' man didn't poo for up to 2 wks (which seemed a lil long, but she's the doc) ... he did a few adjustments and bam that nite we got a calling from his tummy! He took a poo that nite...and just from that I could tell he felt so much better. Since that day he has pooped everyday and I also changed my diet meaning NO dairy, chocolate, acidy foods and nuts and added fiber!! He is sucha different baby. My mom noticed the change in him (we tend to be together A LOT)! He smiles like crazy, is starting to talk...I just want time to stop NOW. So I can start enjoying my happy baby. The docs always say wait a while they will grow out of it, but I didn't want to wait and watch my poor baby struggling in pain or screaming cuz he had No other way of telling me. Eli's reflux is also improving, his coughing is almost diminished..I honestly can't thank the chiro enough! He has given me my OLD Eli and I LOVE that Eli is SO happy which in the end is ALL that matters...

Out and about...

Yesterday I had an amazing time with my Lil' family! We headed to Balboa Park and walked around (it was pretty hot) but I loved it so much just being w.my wonderful hubby and adorable lil man. 


After, we decided to go eat out for practically the first time (we weren't sure if Eli would hold up cuz of his tummy problems and reflux-but we gave it a shot).. and he DID GREAT!! It was so nice..by the way I figured out by Eli's chiropractor ( I decided to give it a shot-which he is responding to well) and he told me Eli is a lil backed up, but Eli's doc. kept telling us it was normal for him NOT to poop for up to a week. Ne who I ended up added a lot of fiber to my diet and Eli started to poop!! I was so excited and I could tell he FELT a million times better...my heart was SO happy...who would have thought a poopy diaper would make me SMILE SO BIG!! So he still has reflux which I can tell bothers him (he shoves his fingers in his throat and coughs) but I don't believe that is what was causing him SO MUCH pain!! I'm so happy my happy baby is BACK!

By the way we did Lil mans dedication last Sunday which went great...Everyone came afterwards to show Eli Lots of LOVING!! IT was a great BBQ day and Eli sure Loved all the LOVE surrounding him!!

I need to realize that I have that...

I can watch my son scream his head off and appreciate that, cuz many moms have lost that.

As I sit and write this I need to take in every cry, every scream, every poopy diaper, evertime I get pee'd on, every hair that he yanks out of my head, everytime he pouts, everytime he wants to be held, everytime I get spit up on, everytime I get woken up cuz he's starving, everytime he spits out his paci and lands smack down on the dirty floor cuz when it comes down to it,  I still have that. I dont know how I manage to find blogs regarding the lose of a child, but somehow I came across a blog about a lil' girl who died from drowning. I can't and never want to imagine that loss...

Eli is my WORLD, my EVERYTHING!  Loving him is so easy. I couldn't picture a day, min or sec away from his cuddly lil' body or stand NOT to see his infectious smile! God chose Mr. Grumpers especially for us.. I need to sit back and realize...that I have him still and for that I TRULY feel blessed everyday andThank the Lord for him...

hoping this is it...

So my lil man hasn't been doing to good AGAIN :( I know its NOT colic cuz his symptoms aren't that of it. So I did some research on his symptoms :

gulping with a painful look on the face

sour breath, wet sounding burps

persistent or chronic cough

frequent hiccups

sudden burst of painful crying

painful wakeups from sleep or poor sleeping habits

neck or back arching during or after feeding

excessive fussiness, crying or colic

demands to be carried constantly

And Yup, ACID reflux..my poor baby...I did cut out dairy, choco and caffeine for a while, but slowly brought some of it back into my diet and now I GOTTA take it out again (cuz I thought it was the ice cream that hurt his tummy, but now it mite be one of those things that could be causing acid reflux). So I brought it to my son's docs attention and she prescribed Zantac. Yes I don't really wanna put him on it. But my poor baby is in So much pain, he clutches his fists really tight to his body and squeezes his chest and it breaks my heart. Im not gonna lie, it's been a lil' difficult these past few weeks (I sit and pray and ask God to give me patience and know that it's NOT his fault) I do it a good few times, cuz this boy WHAILS, and screams. But I HOPE and PRAY it works. IT HAS TO WORK>>>I can't bear to see him in SO MUCH pain..!!! I know this isn't something my son is just being fussy bout'. I think I know my son's personality (im with him ALL day), and He used to BE SO HAPPY and now he cries ALL day and WILL not let me put him down. NOT even in his swing (which HE LOVED). So tonite we tried the Zantac and he seems already better and guess what..?! He went in his swing..OH please don't make this be just a fluke thing!! So we'll see how he does on it, and I think thats why hes gained so much weight. Cuz they say some babies like the breast cuz nursing helps soothe his throat from the acid.. :( GOSH I HOPE THIS works..crossing my fingers, and praying EXTRA hard tonite!

I do get happy smiles in the MORNING..every morning and LOVE every 1 of them!

The worries of a mommy...

So today was like ne other day, woke up w. lil man on my chest (me n Eli like to snuggle in the morning and take a lil morning nap from mommy getting up twice-this lil booger will not go past 4 hrs w.out food-so Im still TIRED) ne who...


we woke up, and of course my hungry lil hippo was hungry so he got in his brunch :) and we got changed, while I LOVED on him, and he SMILED and giggles like crazy. I decided to try out his bouncy to see if he would like it ... I need to replace the batteries in his swing ... N boy did he LOVE IT!!  Laughing and kicking his chunky Lil legs...but of course 15 mins into it he was OVER it...and getting fussy! I have a feeling something is going on w.him ... call it mothers intuition but I can just tell this isn't my Eli...


Well my sweet Luvluv had an ear infection so I made an app. @ the vet for her ... so off we went. He did pretty good and later we visited Sugarnana...so as the day went on Lil man took a huge Poop everywhere on the couch and ALL over me!! Then we noticed it was diahrrea... great he has his 2 month check up manana and now this...!?!?! So now Im freakin...Im wondering if this is why Lil man's been so fussy...I JUST DON'T ever want to see him in the NICU...So of course I started crying, thinking the worse...good thing he's only had it once today and its not a constant thing...so hopefully tomorrow gives us a lil clarification on why he's been fussy and that his diahrrea isn't something HUGE to worry bout...I think he mite be teething, so Im hoping thats why he's been my fussy boy lately!! Well off to praying for my sweet chunks!

Hey my other 3 children...I hope you understand mommy has been SO busy with lil bro...you 3 have been a great big brother and sisters to Lil' man...and I can't wait for our first trip together all 6 of us...


My 3 pups have been a lil neglected lately..and it breaks my lil heart...before lil man they were our children!! But they are wonderful with him and I couldn't have asked for more better doggies than these...Eli sure is one lucky kid...he's gonna have sucha blast w.them when he gets older...

Where has my baby gone...

I LOVE LOVE seeing my Lil E grow into this handsome lil man. but what the heck..i barely got his baby, baby days...he weighed 8lbs 7oz @ birth and lost a pound the first week..but after that he just grew!! I never got to FULLY enjoy all of lil E's tiny stages ... so I leave you w.some cute pics of when he was our tiny lil man...

went shopping...and wondering?!?

So my lil man has officially grown out of ALL his clothes..he barely was in the 3 months clothing. I ended up going with my mama and got a good range of 6,9 and 12 month clothing so hopefully these last.


This might be a lil much but today I noticed lil mans poop was a lil watery, so I def. gotta keep and eye on it. I am one paranoid mama..any lil cough, or sneeze I start to freak. and the last few weeks he does this weird breathing thing and I HATE it..he'll be sleeping and all of sudden he starts to try and catch his breath...he does it a few times every nite and also when he's in his carseat. I mentioned it to his doc. and she said is "NORMAL" but I need to keep and eye on it. I hate it though, Im wondering when it will go away as the doc says...I HOPE and pray it does. It's horrible!!

had SO MUCH FUN...

So I finished Lil' E's announcements for his dedication next Sunday. They look so cute..ne who! I FINALLY did a cake...you see I love, love designing cakes, but haven't been able to due to well be big and prego mego...well no more...I can go back to them (granted it takes 10x longer cuz of lil man), but I honestly missed decorating them. I was a little skeptical if it would come out ok since its almost been a yr since I have done a cake, but I must say I was a proud mama of this cake

well off to bed I go, I just had to share this!! I actually should have been in bed an hr ago, but Lil' man has been sucha lil' booger lately, his whole sleeping pattern is a little off, so I gotta work with him on that! well Nite, nite sleep tight

happy 2 month my sweet boy...

Gosh I can't believe my sweet Lil' boy is already 2 months today. Im not gonna lie, its definitely been a whirlwind of obsticles, but ALL so worth it. I can't believe how much I TRULY Love him...and more and more each day. He's growing so fast and though it makes me sad (cuz I would love for him to stay small and cuddly forever) I love watching him flourish into this strong, bright faced Lil' boy! He's still a hungry hungry lil' hippo and eats still almost every 2 hrs, so I still haven't gotten a good nights rest since he's been born, but I wouldn't change it for the world. I love how he grasps my finger when I breastfeed him, or how he knows my voice when Im near by. I love that he NEEDS his mommy, but he doesn't know that I NEED him a MILLION times more than he'll ever know! He is my world and I would do anything for him!


He's completely grown out of ALL of his clothes and officially is 6 month clothing (crazy) so we def. have to go get some shopping done...


This upcoming Sunday I can't wait to see my Lil' man being dedicated to GOD and in front of all the people we LOVE!! I'm actually gonna do the announcements right now for it...

Oh Goodness...

So yesterday was an eventful day. A day that was supposed to be easy with a simple doc appointment turned into something I didn't expect.

So as me n the hubs are leaving my doc appointment Lil' E is screaming in the backseat cuz he was a starving lil boy, so while in traffic on the freeway we decide to pull over to feed him (i breastfeed) and before you know it there goes an hour. Then the hubs decides he wants pizza. Driving and talking don't mix cuz Moi got distracted and takes the wrong exit, only to spot 3 stray doggies...and I tell Moi to keep driving, but he knows me better and turns around. As we are pulling up to the dogs the 2 lil' ones run away while the bigger one is SO SWEET and approaches me. She was so skinny and I tell Moi we have to take her...(by the way it was in the 90's out here), so while Im holding her in the trunk I spot something in her ears. AAAA>>>it's ticks...poor thing :( So we pull up to the shelter only to have it CLOSED >> what?!?! I get out of the car and walk around the closed gates...of course the receiving gates are closed, so Im praying that the office is open...N thank GOD it was open...! I have one arm holding the poor lil thing outside while using the other arm to hold the door open while Im talking to the lady inside. I tell her that I found a dog that is skinny and has ticks inside her ears, and without hesitation they take her in! So I thought I was done, but NOPE..I head out to the car and Eli decided to take a HUGE poop that got all over his carseat, clothes, back and legs...that itself was a challenge ... So after we FINALLY pick up the pizza and head home. Wowwy just reading it over  I still can't believe it.

A letter to my Lil E!

I still can't believe I am a mommy and I have a son...


My Sweet baby Eli~


Im so proud to be called your one and only mommy!! I can't believe how much your growing, to be exact 13 lbs and 2 oz at only 7 wks and 24 in. long, in the 99% for your age (you definitely a BIG boy) and hopefully you'll be taller than mommy and daddy! I think you're so tall and chunker munks cuz you LOVE to eat!! You are already wearing 3 months clothing and heading into 6 month clothing (Pleze Stop growing so fast) You're becoming a little infant and no longer a newborn. Your cry has changed and you are starting to smile SO much for mommy, even a little giggle here and there sometimes. These are mommies favorite times, I love talking to you and having you talk back to me! This past month you have been a little fussy, so your doc (who I didn't like) said you had colic, but mommy knew better. I eliminated everything from my diet and found out that mommy had ice cream that really bothered your tummy. After that your little tummy got all better, so it was just a mild tummy ache ( I knew it wasn't colic) and we ended up changing your doctor (who mommy LOVES now) from Mansour to Genash. You haven't been taking naps in the middle of the day, so mommy got a video (happiest baby on the block) to help me be a better mommy to you and BOY has it helped! You are great though at sleeping @ nite, you fall asleep by 930 the latest and let mommy get a good 4-5 hrs of rest before waking up. You make the cutest grunting and oinker sounds right before going to bed at night, it's so cute. I love you so much my lil E...Mommy and daddy have so many nicknames for you : Ewi, lil turtle, franklin, handsome, chunty boy ... you LOVE your swing and music, not so much your bouncy or your play mat. You HATE absolutely HATE laying down for TOO long on your back...you get bored fast, love to be held by mommy and LOVE when people talk you. You love outside and have already been in your  first pool, which you loved (didn't cry once). Your such a strong lil' man, you can hold you head up so well now that I wanna get you a bumbo so you can sit and watch mommy! You have discovered your chunky lil' hands and love to suck and them (mommy loves to hear you sucking on them it sounds so cute). You are starting to notice the pups and your surroundings. Eli mommy could go on about how much I am so in love with you, your my lil' buddy and I can't wait to see what an amazing young lil' man your gonna become!!
