5 days past...

Goodness. I'm five days past Eli's BIG one year.

Well My lil' buddy so much of your personality has developed. Now that you can somewhat tell us what you want you're very prominent on letting us know :) You can make a stranger fall in love with you and those that already know you, just can't handle how hilarious you are. It's so simple to make you smile and I absolutely love it.

This is your 'new' smile. I tell ya to smile and I get these big cheesy grin :)

Food time is also always a big plus in your book. Especially spaghetti night :)

Your new obsession is being outside. As I have mentioned you have never liked Telly. So daddy sanitized the whole backyard for you and you know daddy, he gets down and dirty when it comes to sanitation. So now you are outside all day. And it helps that Nahla broke our screen door because it's easy access for you! 

For one of your gifts from your tio dodo you got a drum set. And of course I had to test it out and whenever you see me playing with it you have to make sure you get your turn in. You still haven't fully understood that sticks hit the drums, but your getting there. Gosh I love ya bud.

you took three good, big steps yesterday and I was such a proud mama :)

Only nursing 3x a day now

only shows you will even give any thought too: max and ruby and sesame street (and i have no clue cuz those are by far the most dullest in color, but you seem to love them)

Your word for dog is bah...and you still love pulling their hair, but they love you and allow it. (poor lil pups)

You can take one or two naps a day. Depending if your teething. And right now ALL your teeth are coming in, even the back molars. But honestly you've been so good I didn't notice until I felt your lil' gums in the back and saw how swollen your side ones are.

Nothing can replace your teddy. And teddy is gonna need a bath soon. He's a stinky lil' fella ;)

Your stranger anxiety is pretty much gone. I was so proud at your party. You were passed around and really didn't have a problem.

I plan to do your 1 yr. pictures done tomorrow. I'll be writing out my 1 yr. letter to you. I'll leave you with  this my lil' dude. It's so simply easy to be your mom. I really know God created your perfect lil' self for me and daddy. You fit so perfectly in our lil' family and I couldn't see my life without the existence of you in it!!
