Eli has NOT been a happy camper lately. One of his bottom teeth cam in and I know the other is just about to pop out as well. Poor buddy. And poor mama. He was starting to sleep for about 5 hrs straight (that's a lot for him at once), but now that the tooth came in, I can tell he's uncomfortable and he's been waking up every 2 hrs and sometimes doesn't wanna go back to sleep. So of course I'm half asleep and just bring into my bed, cuz well I need at least some sleep. Moi's tried convincing me to give him rice cereal or even a lil formula to help him sleep more better, but this momma knows better. I won't>>I can't give into temptation. Believe me its hard, extremely hard. But I won't introduce anything 'till his lil' body can actually handle it. So I will continue to live like a zombie, but 1 more month, which will fly by. Just like these last 5 months. How has that happened?! How did my boy get to 5 months almost?!
It's so funny Moi and I, are both, well lets say, well Moi is average height and I'm just a midget, just pulling in at 5'0 ft. So when people see Eli with us, first we get that look, like how old are those kids. Many thinking I am 16 and Moi 18, little do they know I'm five years away from 30 and Moi will be hitting his 27th birthday a month before Eli's 1st birthday. Then we get-how old is he. Our answer always surprises people when we say 4 1/2 months. Their reaction - WOW, that kid is tall! Yeah tall. Eli is extremely tall in general, many mistake him for 7 or 8 months. We figure he must have gotten his height from Moi's dad cuz he sure didn't get it from either of us. He also is very mature for his age. He is wearing 12 month clothing and he just keeps growing. Good thing he looks like Moi, people say :)
Then this past week Julz came over.
That lil' booger convinced me to let her come over for a lil' while before our tata's dinner.
And of course I can't say No, plus I promised her she could come over.
So we decided to make brownies for dessert and Yes, I cheated and went with the brownie box from Costco.
And let me tell you these are the best brownies ever.
Serious.
Everyone loved them.
I told Jul'z to tell everyone we made them from scratch,
but them Moi narked us out.
Booger.
And let me tell ya.
Eli absolutely LOVED her.
He was smiles ALL day long.
And would be all bashful when she'd look at him.
Lil' flirt.
He could NOT take his eyes off her.
