Wowwzer...

So I have been GONE for a long time...and since my last post I had my baby Eli! It has def. been a crazy road w.turns and hills and many bumps, but def. an adventure!! I think what caught me OFF guard was my hubby's anxiety when bringing the baby home...I hadn't really seen this side of him since we've been together which has been 6 yrs plus and I guess I wasn't prepared. It took us awhile to adjust to eachothers parenting, but we PASSED the test and now LOVING our life w.our new addition! I would tell everyone who is having their first baby ... be ready to have many face off's, but know that it's ok too as long as you work and talk it out. The baby blues hit me bad which have now left...but those were NO BUENO!!! I was crying for no reason and sad, and seemed to be angry w.the hubby ALL the time but talking w.the hubby HELPED so much!!!

So the details of the labor were so intense......

I get to the hospital @ midnite on the 9th and am getting induced becuz lil man decided he didn't wanna come out...so I start contracting and they think i mite not need any pitocin...but then my contractions aren't going in a pattern..so they decide to start it @ 2 am...nothing really happens till the morning around  8ish and I've only dilated 2-3 cm ... so they up the pitocin and call in the doc ... once the doc comes in he breaks my water @ 4 cm and thats when the contractions started getting extremely intense ( i mean overly intense.) My wonderful hubby was a great coach the whole time for me and if it weren't for him I don't know what I would have done...So upping my pitocin MORE...and having the WORST pain of my life I go to 7 cm...and by this time the pain is so unbearable but I really wanted to go ALL natural...by this time its 7 @ nite...so I finally break down and get the epidural...I get a small nap in and an hr later I go from 7-10 cm...!!! Crazy!! So then I start the pushing process and let me tell you this boy was BIG>>my doc told me I was small and was nervous that I mite need a C-Section...but I was DETERMINED NO c-section >> I can Do this...and 3 hrs later of pushing my lil man was born @ 12:45 on May 10...I ended up having an episiotomy and had a small fever ... but luckily everything turned out good and we now have our healthy lil man...who by the way weighed in @ 8 lbs 6.7 oz

the nite he was born
